Krishna as Magician

This week’s verse was sent in by DKM Kartha.  It is by an anonymous medieval Kṛṣṇa bhakta (‘devotee’) poet:

He turns

sea into land land into sea,

dust into mountain mountain into dust

straw into thunderbolt thunderbolt into straw

fire into ice ice into fire

at the drop of a hat.

To that master magician of marvels,

Kṛṣṇa,

do I bow.
